On August 24th, 410, Rome was overrun by the Visigoths [1] in an event that symbolized the fall of the Western Roman Empire. This is a moment in history that we would do well to remember. An empire that ruled the known world was corrupted from the inside to the point that they could not defend themselves from a much weaker enemy. This could conceivably be the beginning of the dark middle ages.

We regular visitors to this and other blogs are familiar with how much corruption there is, and how far and deep it goes. The question is, what is to be done about all this?

Not much.
As I’ve said before, the corruption/tyranny isn’t much of an issue to the vast majority of people until it affects them directly. Then they moan and complain, maybe even contact their congresscritter, but ultimately they will go along to get along.
And nothing changes.
No one I know, myself included, is ready to stand, fight, and die on any “hill” you care to name. No one I know is ready to fight, and possibly physically die, for the issues of rightful liberty for future generations, including the millennials, mostly who care not one whit for liberty. Craven people who WANT the .gov to control every mundane detail of their pathetic lives.
But there WILL be a breaking point for a small minority of people. Whether it is the .govs attempt to confiscate firearms, or a future attempt to require all humans to be microchipped, or whatever else the statists try to convince the people is good for them.
That small minority of people will put their rightful liberty ahead of all other concerns on this Earth and simply say “NO”. What happens after that….
But we aren’t to that point…..yet.

a few days ago, a woman was vilified and castigated by the millenials and other self entitled cretins and lame, tame compliant press for allowing her daughter to walk the family dog in Chicago, she was ” forced ” to explain her actions on prime time TV, idiot neighbor who called the cops, also got child services involved, the mother was mortified , rightly so, the mother said that the 911 call centre operator should not have let it get past the centre, the so long as the nanny state exists in the hive mind that passes for public intelligence, no one is willing to die for their beliefs alone on some remote hilltop, a fair question to ask, is, what is your own valley forge ?, mine is the black hand of govt saying ” except this chip “, other than that, no, that point has not been achieved [ yet ! ]
