Preparedness Notes for Friday – August 10, 2018

On August 10th, 1984, Red Dawn [1], the first PG-13 rated movie, starring Patrick Swayze was released. The movie (the 1984 original, not the 2012 remake) is a favorite of both JWR and HJL, and the characters that the movie is about embody the independent, indomitable spirit that created this country.

And home to one of the best comebacks in movies!

“How’d you get yourself shot down, Colonel?”

” it was five to one, I got four of them. “

The awesome director realized in time the direct dangers of Communism.

He saw how our own people would seek to betray us.

Rest in Peace to Patriot, Patrick Swayze.

God bless,
