I heard about a company called Shooting Innovations [10], located in Moses Lake, Washington. They make a patented AR Recoil Reduction System. They also manufacture high quality AR barrels in 5.56mm and 9mm Parabellum. They also make some great AR uppers and muzzle brakes.

The American Redoubt in the News (Remoteness):
Take a close look at the animated graphic showing scheduled airline flights in CONUS here [12]. Notice how there are no major airport hubs and only just a few small connecting airports for regional flights inside the American Redoubt. The Redoubt is true “fly-over country” with a startlingly low population density. This remoteness makes it ideal as a safe have in every scenario from an economic collapse to a pandemic that is spread through personal contact.

OK so you ruled out Colorado because of the Californicators on the eastern slope. BUT the North Western piece of Colorado is ideal and ranges from Alpine to high desert. Good water sources and agricultural land in the valleys. I refer to the counties of Rio Blanco, Garfield, Mesa, Delta,Montrose and Deloris. (look at the voting stats for these counties.) the amalgam butts Wy. on the North and several Like minded N Utah counties to the west. Yes there are problem counties on the Western slope (La Plata,(Durango) San Juan (Silverton), San Miguel(Teluride) and Pitcan (Aspen)) but they can be isolated.

Interesting informative article on remoteness. I’ve read where the Sandhills of NE weren’t suitable for the redoubt.
They’re 20,000 square miles of remoteness covering nw-n central NE, lightly populated, very self sufficient, stable, conservative, good investment value, small towns, big ranches, abundant water and grass. Just wondering what they lack. Thanks.
