R.T. may change his mind. I bought a Swissmar mandoline and don’t like it at all. I’m now looking at metal mandolins with legs to hold it up away from the food and not so many parts. I found the Swissmar difficult to use and unnecessarily complicated. Also, the plastic “pusher” is breaking already. Excalibur has a couple [1] that look good.
