Dr. Krayton Kerns, a Montana legislator has authored HB302, a bill that would prohibit state personnel and funds from being used to enforce an unconstitutional federal ban on semiautomatic weapons and high capacity magazines. In his blog [10], Kerns reports: “The opposition [in committee] was fierce. HB302 was voted out of committee 12-8, entirely along party lines with no support from even one Democrat.” Kerns has also written a lot of other great essays [11].
