I recently got a lengthy heartfelt letter from a Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV [6]) employee that I’ll quote just briefly: “The number one lesson I have learned [as a DMV employee] that I want to share is that GDP [7] really does mean, General Dumb Public. When TEOTWAWKI [8] begins, the collective mental breakdown and anguish of those still living huddled in the corner of ‘the box’ is going to be horrible and unimaginably destructive. I don’t pity them in any regards, just the distance we have fallen morally as a nation. Seeing the rampant stupidity in my fellow constituents and the stocked pantry/hidden blunder busters at home, I can’t help but feel a little dead inside. I grew up in a different America and I’m not sure if we can ever return to that. And as controversial as it sounds, this nation is ripe for the judgment. America is a rebellious house and a catharsis of Biblical proportions is at our doorstep.”
