Preparedness Notes for Saturday — December 12, 2020

I just heard about the Supreme Court’s December 11th rejection of the Texas v. Pennsylvania et al case. That was very discouraging. If they weren’t willing to step in to correct an obviously corrupted vote-counting process, then I don’t hold out too much hope for the survival of our Republic. The Democrats have demonstrated that they can now rig elections at will. So what are the chances of ever having another Republican president? And what chance is there of holding on to a Republican majority in the U.S. Senate?  Be prepared to have your gun rights trampled, your nation’s borders flung open, your freedoms of speech and religion truncated, your tax burden increased, and the entire socialist-globalist agenda rammed down your throat.

Plan accordingly. I recommend that you buy some unpapered guns NOW, while you still can. It is very likely that the Democrats are going to insist on a ban on private party sales within the first few months of the new presidential administration. They euphemistically call this “universal background checks.” And if you live a “Blue” state, then make plans to move, muy pronto. The clock is ticking. Oh, and pray hard.

On December 12, 2000, the U.S. Supreme Court released its decision in Bush v. Gore, settling the recount dispute in Florida’s 2000 presidential election in George W. Bush‘s favor and thus handing him the presidency. Apparently, the court has changed in the intervening 20 years.

Horizontally Polarized Antennas Are Good For COMSEC

COMSEC is greatly improved when one station is horizontally polarized, and the other vertically polarized as there is at least a 20 dB loss in signal strength as compared to when both stations are using the same polarization. This means that if a station is running 100 watts output, the other station is going to receive that station as if they were running only 1 watt. This aids COMSEC, as intercept stations will more often than not be sweeping the band using a vertical polarized antenna. This mean the odds of detecting a horizontally polarized signal is greatly reduced, even when the interception is relatively close. However, the further away is an intercept station, a horizontally polarized signal may begin to change as it bounces off objects becoming less horizontally polarized in the process.

Another benefit of horizontally polarized antennas is it’s ability to travel through forests without as much obstruction from trees. The radio wave in a real sense travel along the same axis of tree, in and around trees, therefore travels further.
However, a horizontal polarized antenna will perform better it mounted as many half wave lengths high as possible to avoid interference with propagation that bounces off ground and back on to its self attenuating the signal. It also benefits from a lower signal to noise ratio, as most antennas are vertically polarized, and collective, or general RF noise is not as significant.

If I must work the 2 meter band, I will use a directional antenna that is horizontally polarized, and by using only the lowest power setting that makes communication possible. In an test years ago using a home brew moxon antenna held in the hand and a 4 watt Boafeng, I was able to talk to another Baofeng on an external antenna on the 2 meter band that was vertically polarized, and located about 22 miles away. When the antenna I was using was rotated to become horizontally polarized, and even though the Moxon was pointed directly at the receiving station, their vertical antenna could not hear me. This means, that at that range using only 4 watts though a Moxon, I could choose to talk to a station of my choice based upon whether their antenna was vertically, or horizontally polarized. They could be standing right next to each other, and I could decide who I would talk to, or not, simply by rotating my antenna from vertically to horizontally polarized orientation.

This is a very simple technique that was used extensively during Vietnam. And for good reason. Sadly this technique is underappreciated today. If the community does come together, 2 Meter will be king, unfortunately, not all Hams will be trust worthy. Please do not learn the hard way.

  2. Haven’t seen it mentioned here on SB yet that Polymer 80 was raided by the ATF. Apparently, selling an item the Feds approved as not a firearm in a baggie with some additional parts somehow makes that item a firearm.

Supreme Court Rejects Texas Election Lawsuit

The “Supreme Court” did what I predicted they would do. I was correct, though I take no joy in that fact. At Instapundit, Glenn has this post up. Most interesting to me isn’t the fact that the court rejected the argument, nor what the experts think about that. It is the comments on the article, which are currently well over 1100. A sample of them follows.

    PART ONE
[I just wrote this and posted it on American Partisan]

    http://americanpartisan.org/2020/12/there-will-be-blood/

The impossible situation that the non-politician outsider Donald Trump found himself in was that he had to fight all of the DemSocRats and (at least) half of the GOP.
Nominally Republican Governor Kemp in Georgia is a classic example. Early in 2020 he signed a $110 million dollar contract to buy 30,000 Chinese-made Fraud-O-Matic vote-switching machines, placing them in every GA precinct. He reportedly inked the contract two weeks after he visited the CCP “spy nest” in Houston that was recently forced to close. It is safe to assume family kickbacks were involved.
Kemp, his Republican AG and his Republican lieutenant governor do not want their financial connections to the CCP revealed. This Georgia corruption was endangered by Swamp Drainer Trump, and will be protected by Beijing Biden. Trump lost Georgia, and with a few other corrupt states, he lost the White House. What happened in Georgia was a classic example of Trump’s dilemma.

    1. “There Will Be Blood” by Matt Bracken
      PART TWO

Like “Republican” Brian Kemp, half of the GOP goes into politics for the legal family graft, happy to play the “designated losers” aka the “Washington Generals” to the “DemSocRat Globetrotters,” who are assigned by the overall system to win majorities. Witness the sellout “consent decree” election deal the Georgia GOP made with Stacy Abrams, which guaranteed a Rat victory, and the unexamined continuance of the Georgia GOP graft machine.
The GOP grifters want the graft without the hassles and accusations of being part of systemic white racism and so on, so they are eager to roll over on their backs for their DemSocRat shot-callers.
Hunter and Joe Biden were not unique, they are typical of both sides of the political aisle, if a bit flagrant at their grifting. You can’t give an American politician a million bucks, heaven forfend, that’s a bribe! But you can give it to his son or his brother, after creating a fictitious job for him. Then he buys a couple of mansions, and lets you live in them. Great work if you can get it–and you can only get it by becoming a “made member” of the ruling elite.
Trump upset this legalized political graft formula, so he had 75% of Washington out to bury him from Day One. All of the Rats, and half of the GOP. Impossible math to overcome.
And it’s not only the politicians: it’s the bureaucrats, generals, admirals, intel and DOJ bosses, leading academics and top MSM figures. Our ruling class elites are all in on the scam, moving through a continuously revolving door of doing political favors, switching jobs and obtaining seven-figure financial rewards, all while protecting one another, plus getting their undeserving brats into Ivy League schools, and then up into the ruling class nomenklatura. Chelsea Clinton was not unique, she was just a high profile example.

  5. Matt Bracken nailed it. SCOTUS rejected the Texas lawsuit. This is unbelievable.

    Bracken said:

My guest host appearance on Alex Jones yesterday, talking about the stolen election, and how we will resist Democrat/Communist efforts to permanently turn us into a post-constitutional Amerizuela, minus free speech and the 2nd amd.

Your figures are a little off. Trump had MORE than half the GOP against him. Perhaps 85%. Recalculate, please.

      Brevity Code is Golden.

If you’ve ever listened to big city police on a scanner, you probably did not understand most of watt was being said, especially at the high rate of speed at which it was communicated at. I started out in the early 1980’s as dispatcher, so I can speak code. 18:55 hrs, negative 28’s and 9’s, 21 for a 10-13 prior to 19. Copy? 10-4? Roger that? Roger, wilco? Hello….hello, anyone out there? Brevity code works good. It shortens transmission time, it easier to understand in noisy conditions, and obscures what is being said.

Now that the 80’s is over, the 10 code is mostly dead, yet I am still not yet ….dead.
The more things change the more they stay the same, and I would like to re-live the 80’s, or the 70’s, and the 10 Code may yet live again, yet I suggest not. Why? The 10 Code would easily broken, and your brevity code would only provide a false sense of security. We can develop our own 10 Code based upon the original that is widely available on the internet, we can make up own code based upon the common terms we would use, or adopt terms and code that is proven to appropriately fit our mission.

Using brevity code for secure radio communication is absolutely necessary. We gotta get it done, and gotta get it adopted by all who would use a radio for security operations. It is like learning a new language. It requires commitment and discipline to adopt it, but it will save our butts on the air. Even Ham’s use their own brevity code. Brevity code works good. We are not using cell phones.

I highly recommend not reinventing the wheel and recommend we take a close look at this article. We might take a screen shot and print out the cheat sheet, and use it as is. However I would at least change up the matrix and add a few terms for local use.

      2. Jimbo, or anyone else: I had the same result for YouTube, using Tunnel Rabbits’ link.

Placing the Title of the Video and SouthernPrepper1’s name into a Search Engine, I ended up with a link for a YouTube video. The video link then Worked OK.

The video explains one method to make sure, a person is talking to someone in their own group. … It’s also possible to have a code-method, to let a person tell the other people, he (she) is under duress by threats, by using the same code but with an ‘alert’ variance.

Dr. Steve Pieczenik has been on InfoWars several times telling people, President Trump is running a sting on the people in cahoots with China and the other villains.

We shall see. We do know there was massive fraud in the election. Trump won the election, and won the overwhelming votes, from the people that actually get out of bed, and do productive work in our society.

If the big steal continues, there will be ‘shut down’ chaos in our society. Americans will NOT tolerate a stolen election. Most likely no needed threats. Trump was cheered today at the Army Navy football game. The cops like Trump.
The Chinese Army wouldn’t stand a chance, if it invaded the USA in the next few months. We’re Americans. We don’t take crap from anyone. The fraudsters just over the last few years have been operating a voting scam.

Check the preps for peace of mind. Check the products sold by the advertisers on SurvivalBlog. Buy some things commonly used items, to have as an ~extended supply. People will always use toilet paper, toothpaste, laundry soap, and certain can goods.

President Trump, and the people in his circle do NOT act like they have been defeated.
Who knows what will happen. But, buying a weapon from SurvivalBlog’s Elk Creek Company would be a good hedge against inflation.

We know inflation is built into our monetary system, and the money supply. Don’t we all wish we had ancestors that bought trunk loads of the old blackpowder Colt Peacemakers long ago, when the revolvers first were out of date.

Paper money advice. The price of goods is NOT going up. The real value of our money is going down. The politicians and bankers want Americans to blame business people for the price increases.
…….. There are a lot self interested people in cahoots; they and their minions seem to control a lot of information released now days.

It’s not a surprise because we’ve been tracking this closely as have many other people within the SB community. What’s so big is the CONFIRMATION by someone who saw the forensic images and was internal to the investigative team.

This information must see the light of day and be released to the public.

“The State of Texas’s motion for leave to file a bill of
complaint is denied for lack of standing under Article III of
the Constitution. Texas has not demonstrated a judicially
cognizable interest in the manner in which another State
conducts its elections. All other pending motions are dismissed as moot.”

The last time SCOTUS so short-sightedly and utterly foolishly decided a case was Dred Scot. We know how that turned out.
With this dismissal, the Supreme Court of the United States has just ruled that the Constitution of the United States no longer has jurisdiction over the United States. In so doing, they have also self-delegitimized any jurisdiction they formerly possessed.

The only answer to that has to start with gunfire, and end with nooses.

Conduct yourselves appropriately. The entire social contract is therefore dissolved.

If you swore an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that bill has just come due. The government of the United States has now entered into a state of war with its own people.

  12. “and the entire socialist-globalist agenda rammed down your throat.”

Nothing can be “rammed down your throat” unless you allow it to happen.

It is time to stiffen the back-bone, harden the heart, and ready ourselves for what so desperately needs to happen in the former USA.

To borrow from the “left”: Become ungovernable.

I do not live my life to “please the king”. I will not ever bow my knee to Caesar nor will I burn incense to him.

  13. As much as I hate to admit it, for obvious reasons, it appears the pedophile socialists have called for the arrival of 1776 part ll. Game On! May God guide our hand. Long live our Republic…

  14. Hold on a minute. The Texans leading the charge at SCOTUS may have failed, but Sidney Powell is still working. If (and it’s a big IF) she can present evidence proving Dominion software weighted or flipped votes to the benefit of Joe Biden, then there is a chance the challenge takes on new life. I’ve read this morning’s filings for GA and MI and some of it is a rehash of lawsuits that have been thrown out in lower courts, but there are sections added on data integrity that should hold up if compelling exhibits can be presented.

Plus, if the results from Antrim County investigation are released then this can certainly add fuel to the fire. Unfortunately the same judge that allowed the forensic examination of the Antrim County machines is now blocking release of the details as a result of the Michigan AG getting involved. Some news has leaked that those 6000 votes flipped to Biden may have been the result of being sent to and “corrected” in Germany or Spain.

Wasn’t Germany the location of the server that was supposedly removed from a CIA facility in Frankfurt? Or was that news solidly debunked? I’ve not seen mention of that story for over two weeks now, but the vote data going overseas is fresh news.

Anyway, Trump may still have a chance but it is pretty slim.

    1. I don’t doubt the sincerity of Sidney Powell but understand this; all of these tactics are designed to give the appearance of working on the problem while simultaneously running out the clock. How many times have we seen Senator Graham on Sunday TV outraged over the latest Democrat scandal and declare that he will investigate it and heads will roll. Followed some months later as he hugs the opposition on national TV. The simple truth it many of the Republicans in office are quite happy to see Biden in office and Trump out. Now they can go on with their important work of selling their influence without fear of being exposed and retire as multi-millionaires. I suspect that when all the politicians get together they tell stupid jokes about their stupid constituents.

  15. Interesting times indeed. While I too long for the country to be led by good men and women, our remaining rights protected, and general peace to prevail in the country, we need to remember that God is in control and America cannot not be held to account for the 60-80 million babies who have been murdered in the name of freedom. That debt is going to be paid and now may be the time.

  16. From Sarah Westal:
, the Wisconsin Supreme Court agrees to take President Donald Trump’s case. The court is meeting in a rare Saturday session to hear the merits of the case. The positive outcome in the Wisconsin Supreme Court hearing could be a turning point Trump and his lawyers need.
Don’t know what happened after that.
